Frequently Asked Questions

What ages and grades do you teach?

We offer Waldorf-inspired classes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Drawing, Painting, and Form Drawing for students in Grades 4–9. Classes are grouped by grade and developmental readiness, allowing children to work with peers at a similar stage of learning.

Do you teach children in Grades 1–3?

Yes, we may offer classes for children in Grades 1–3 when there is a small group of 3–4 children, as children at this age learn best through shared rhythm, movement, and group interaction.

One-on-one sessions may also be planned if required. Fees vary depending on the format and duration.

Do you offer one-on-one tutoring?

Yes, we do offer individual tutoring.
Fees for one-on-one sessions typically range from USD 40 to USD 50 per hour, depending on the subject, grade level, and frequency of lessons.

Is this a Waldorf school?

We are an independent learning space offering Waldorf-inspired teaching. Our work is rooted in Waldorf pedagogy while remaining flexible and responsive to individual learners and family needs.

How are classes conducted?

All classes are conducted live online via Zoom. The Zoom link is shared after enrolment is confirmed and payment is received.

What is the role of parents in online classes?

Online learning works best when children, teachers, and parents work together with clarity and mutual respect.

To support a focused and safe learning environment:

  • Children are expected to sit attentively with their camera on throughout the class, as this supports presence, connection, and group learning.

  • Food and drinks are avoided during class time. Children may keep a bottle of water nearby if needed.

  • Parents are welcome to be present in the background if required, but are requested to avoid coming on screen or interacting during class time, as this can distract the group.

  • If parents have questions or concerns, they are encouraged to write to us by email and, if needed, schedule a separate meeting.

  • Parents are asked to regularly check Google Classroom, support children in uploading their work on time, and help them stay organized.

  • Support in preparing materials and supplies before class is greatly appreciated.

These shared understandings help create a calm, respectful space where children can learn with confidence and independence.

Will children receive homework?

Yes. Practice and independent work are an important part of the learning process.

  • Mathematics Tracks:
Children receive approximately 30–60 minutes of practice work, 2–3 times per week.

  • Main Lesson Blocks:
Children engage in regular book work, drawings, diagrams, reading, project work, and written reflection, amounting to approximately 60–90 minutes of work, 4–5 times per week, depending on the subject.

What commitment is required?

  • Mathematics and Drawing/Painting tracks require a minimum three-month commitment.

  • Biology Main Lesson Blocks require commitment for the entire duration of the block.

What if my child misses a class?

If a child misses a class, a recording can be shared upon request to help the student reconnect with the work.

To keep recordings manageable and respectful of group privacy:

  • Requests for recordings should be made within one week of the missed class.

  • Recordings, when shared, are available for up to two weeks after the class.

  • After this period, recordings are deleted.

This approach allows flexibility when needed, while keeping the focus on live participation and ongoing learning.

Are refunds or withdrawals allowed?

For Main Lesson Blocks, fees are non-refundable once the block has begun, as the work unfolds in a continuous rhythm over the full duration of the block.

For ongoing tracks such as Mathematics and Drawing, we request a minimum commitment of three months. This allows children the time they need to settle into the learning atmosphere, build confidence, and benefit fully from the continuity of the group.

Once enrolment is confirmed and a track or block has begun, fees are non-refundable, and withdrawals are not permitted mid-term.

These agreements help us create a stable, supportive learning environment for every child in the group.

Do you meet parents before enrolment?

If needed, we are happy to schedule a brief online meeting to clarify questions and ensure the class is a good fit for the child and family.

We value clear communication, shared responsibility, and a spirit of cooperation.
