Our Programmes
Our Teaching Approach

At Sunmeadow Home Learners, teaching is offered in a Waldorf-inspired, developmentally appropriate way, grounded in careful observation of the child, honouring the child’s age, readiness, and natural capacity for wonder and understanding.

Learning unfolds through Main Lesson blocks and ongoing subject tracks, combining clear conceptual work with observation, artistic activity, movement, discussion and meaningful practice.

Schedules and small group timings are created with care, based on student availability and mutual convenience, so that learning fits naturally into family rhythms and remains both personal and respectful of each child’s time and needs.

Our Mathematics and Geometry Track lessons are ongoing, small-group classes that follow a steady weekly rhythm, allowing children to build confidence and depth in their understanding over time.
Mathematics unfolds here as a living subject—one that invites curiosity, persistence, and quiet discovery. Rather than relying only on fixed methods, children are encouraged to explore different approaches, recognise patterns, and arrive at understanding through their own thinking.
Through clear guidance, discussion, and meaningful practice, children strengthen their reasoning and develop flexibility in problem-solving.
Art Classes
Form Drawing (Grades 1–4)
Our weekly Form Drawing classes offer a quiet and nourishing foundation for young children. Through rhythmic, flowing forms, children develop focus, balance, and inner harmony. This work strengthens the will, supports healthy development, and gently prepares the ground for Geometry in the years to come.
More than an art activity, it supports the child’s whole being in a calm and meaningful way.

Drawing and Painting (Grades 5-8):
In these weekly classes, children step into a living experience of art—working with drawing, painting, charcoal, and veil painting as a journey of discovery. Through form, light and dark, and layered colour, they deepen observation, patience, and inner sensitivity, while growing in confidence and joy in their expression.
